Why send a PDF instead of a Word file
A Word document can look different on every computer. Fonts get replaced, lines shift, pages break in new places, and Hebrew paragraphs can jump to the wrong side. A PDF locks the layout, so your CV, quote or letter looks exactly as you designed it, on any device. It also stops the recipient from accidentally changing the content.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Word (DOC, DOCX): CVs, letters, contracts, reports.
- Excel (XLS, XLSX): price quotes, budgets and tables. The PDF follows the sheet's print area, so set it in Excel first to control what's included.
- PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX): one slide per page, handy for sending a deck to someone who doesn't have PowerPoint.
Hebrew documents
Right-to-left paragraphs, tables with Hebrew headers and mixed Hebrew-English text keep their direction. If a document uses a special font, the PDF uses the closest available match. For branded documents with a specific font, export to PDF from Word itself with font embedding turned on.

Does it work with Excel and PowerPoint too?
Yes. Excel sheets and PowerPoint slides are converted the same way as Word documents.
Will Hebrew text stay right-to-left?
Yes. Right-to-left paragraphs and mixed Hebrew-English text are kept as they appear in the original.
Why does a font look different in the PDF?
If the document uses a font that isn't installed on our server, a similar font is used instead. For an exact match, export to PDF from Word itself with the font embedded.
My Excel sheet is split across several pages.
The PDF follows the sheet's print settings. Set the print area and Fit to page in Excel, save, and convert again.
