Translate documents from English to Hebrew
Upload an English PDF, such as a letter, a contract, instructions or an article, and get it back in Hebrew in the same layout: Hebrew right to left, numbers, prices and English names in the right order.
Files are processed on our server and deleted automatically after one hour.
What people translate from English to Hebrew
- Letters and emails from abroad: from an insurer, a bank, an airline or an employer overseas.
- Contracts and terms: an employment contract with an international company, a supplier agreement or a lease abroad. The translation helps you understand what you're signing; the original stays the binding version.
- Manuals and spec sheets: a device manual, assembly instructions or a product sheet.
- Articles and study material: an academic paper, a syllabus or slides a lecturer shared as a PDF.
- Medical documents: a visit or test summary from abroad, to understand it before seeing a doctor. Medical decisions are made with the doctor, not from the translation.
What happens to the Hebrew in the translated file
Translating into Hebrew is more than swapping words. Lines have to run right to left, while numbers, dates, prices, abbreviations and English names inside them stay in order. Here each translated line is written right to left in place of the original line, and numbers like $1,250 or 03/04/2027 don't get reversed. Headings stay bold, and images and tables don't move.
Three checks after translating
- Numbers and dates: compare amounts and dates with the original. In a US document
03/04/2027is 4 March, not 3 April. - Names: a person's or company's name is written in Hebrew letters. If it's unclear, the original name is in the same spot in the source file.
- Technical terms: in a legal, medical or technical document, make sure the key terms came out right. The guide to translating PDFs and contracts lists what to check in a contract.
A scan, a photo or a Word file
The tool translates PDFs with text. Run a scan or photo through OCR first and choose "Searchable PDF". Convert a Word file with Word to PDF first.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from pasting the text into a translation site?
You translate the whole file at once and get a PDF back with the same headings, tables and images, instead of copying paragraph by paragraph and rebuilding the document yourself. Hebrew is written right to left, with English names, numbers and prices kept in order inside it.
Will names and terms come out right?
Names of people, companies and products are written in Hebrew letters, not translated as words. Check technical and legal terms against the original: the translation is good for understanding, not a certified translation.
My document is in Word, not PDF.
Convert it with Word to PDF first, then translate. To edit the Hebrew afterwards, PDF to Word turns it back into an editable document.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up. Translation allows a few files per hour per visitor.
